 "Uh-uh" (uh-oh); Every time he watched me pull off a piece of the husk, Creegan said , "uh-uh", his version of uh-oh.  As he would pull off pieces, he would say, "uh-uh", too!

 And everything becomes a weapon!

Blueberry Picking

 We went blueberry picking this morning in Wacissa Springs, about 25 minutes from our house.  Eddie claims that he loves blueberries more than he loves his parents, so I didn't think we should miss out on this opportunity.  Peter hates blueberries, but when we were leaving the farm he exclaimed how much fun he had had picking.  I think it was a success.  Creegan learned to pick the blueberries and put them in the gallon jugs, but he preferred picking the green ones, squishing them, then throwing them.  Now we can look forward to lots of fun blueberry recipes, if Eddie doesn't eat them all first!!!

Glasses

Creegan loves to wear my glasses!  They make him look super cute and smart!

Mother's Day 2012

These boys make me such a happy mom!  I love you Eddie, Peter, and Creegan!!!  I am sooo happy I am your Mama!

Easter Egg Hunt

We did an Easter egg hunt with friends for playgroup this week. It was Creegan's first Easter egg hunt (notice the tag is still on his basket), but he was much more interested in the dog than looking for eggs. When he was finally given an egg, he loved shaking it and hearing the noise. He eventually discovered the candy inside.

My Birthday

Ben wrote a great post about my birthday. I just wanted to include a picture. Of course I had intended to get a great picture of me and my boys, but it didn't happen. Here we are in the morning. Everyone got to help me open one present (read: open one present for me). And everyone got to open the last present together. It was a great day! I love my family!

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving 2011 was celebrated with our little family. I started making the food first thing in the morning. We watched the parade as I cooked. Eddie loved seeing a song from the Spiderman play on Broadway. We were finally ready to eat at 6:15. I feel like we are perfecting our Thanksgiving menu. I love the food we have! Ben took pictures for everyone to enjoy. The chef.

Crescent rolls. I don't make anything that uses yeast cuz it never works for me.

Our delicious sausage, apple stuffing! This has been a Thanksgiving staple for four years now.

Peas were a must for Ben this year.

Eddie set the table. It was his idea to fold the napkins and set the silverware on them! I was so impressed!

Ben took complete control of the turkey! This was the first time we got an entire turkey and not just a turkey breast.

Pumpkin toffee cheesecake with caramel drizzled on top! YUM!

I love having holidays with my family.

Greek Festival

We went to the Greek Food Festival last night. It was a nice night, not too cold but cool. It felt like Fall. We were worried the kids wouldn't like it, but they loved running and rolling on the grass and dancing to the live music. Eddie said it was the "funnest neighborhood ever". We had a great time!
Creegan loved the food and dancing to the music.
