Each night before bed I lay Peter on Eddie so they can say goodnight to each other. They hug, sometimes kiss, and always giggle.
They hug and kiss during the day sometimes, too. I took these pictures yesterday afternoon. We'd been sitting on the couch reading books. It's great to have two sweet boys that love each other (and their Mom) very much.
Peter decided to eat his oatmeal with two spoons simultaneously.
It did get confusing. 
But he had fun!
Peter put the sticker on his crown. He loves playing with stickers.
You can see in Eddie's eyes that he feels pretty special.
Peter seems to have a special love for escaping (unscaping, in Eddie terms) from his diaper changes. He runs away and hides usually behind a chair, the couch, or the side of my bed. He sits and waits for me to come find him. He just giggles and giggles. He loves hiding in general and will stay patiently in a hiding spot until I find him. Finding him once isn't enough, though. He likes to be found again and again and again.
Peter had his first haircut on August 22. I was tired of his hair always looking out of control, so I cut it. He sat on Ben's lap, eating treats and never cared that I was cutting his hair. Now his hair is shorter, but it still always looks crazy! I learned that he must have some sort of a callic at the center of his head. Those hairs always stand straight up. At least it's not in his eyes anymore, though!
Peter's blanket was made by my cousin, Marietta. It's green and white plaid on one side and covered in all kinds of sports balls on the other. It was the only blanket given to us when Peter was born. It's the only one that was just for Peter, so it became the one I used all the time for him.
Peter sleeps with "gira'", his giraffe. I think I had him before I had kids (but not much before). It was one of the few stuffed animals we had that Eddie hadn't laid claim to, and it's adorable. Peter loves Eddie's kitty, though, and often wishes he had it at bedtime.
Eddie blanket was made by my good friend's, Camille, mom. I used it all the time when breastfeeding him in public because it's bigger than most baby blankets. It's the only blanket that I never used with Peter because it was Eddie's. Eddie got Kitty from a bookstore here in Tally almost a year ago. Eddie has dearly loved cats since before he was one. We couldn't help buying him this one when he fell in love with it at the store.
Eddie really loved playing with his cousin, Jeremy, who is seven months younger than he. Those seven months seemed to matter until this trip (they've never really played together before). Eddie was really sad Jeremy wasn't going on to Raleigh with us.
Peter fell in love with Jeremy's horse. It was love at first sight, the truest and sweetest love that only these little ones are capable of.
I love this one, walking down the hall while reading a book.

Peter loves wearing Eddie's undies. Every time he finds a pair, he wants them on over his clothes or diaper. Often Peter will be wearing two or three pair at a time. I love my second child's desire to do everything his big brother is doing.
