the Christmas stockings I made Eddie and Peter this year. They were an after-Thanksgiving project at my brother's house. They are really cute. Santa had to bring an extra stocking for each child, though, as they are kinda small for anything more than candy. I was planning to start making family stockings in 2010; I think I may still do that, though these will always be cherished!

It's late and I am surfing the Internet on my iPod touch. It will take me too long to find your email address so I will just leave a note here.
So I wanted to make stockings for my boys too. I told my mom on Christmas she wants to make some too so we decided that we are going to start them asap, so we don't put it off and find it to be almost december again.
I wanted something more whimsical and fun for them. I was looking on the Internet last night for ideas. And I ended up finding some very cute stockings. You should check them out. Go to jcp.com then go click on the home store tab then holiday décor and then stockings and tree skirts. I think you'll figure out what ones I think are cute. they are $6.49! And if you get a promo code off retailmenot.com for 15% off they are like $5.52 plus shipping and handling. Cheaper to buy than to make. Kind of bums me out a little so I may still make stockings. One fyi I didn't find out until I went to the review order screen that they don't have any of the fairy ones but as of today they have all the rest. Ben chose the penguin, jack chose the Santa claus and I ordered the other two for chad and I.
good for you Mel...You're creating a lot of memories.
