Ben turned 30 on Tuesday, October 7. I can't believe this is the tenth birthday he has celebrated with me. We had a great day! We drove Ben to school and picked him up! We got breakfast in the morning, and we went to dinner at the Olive Garden. Eddie sang happy birthday to the whole family (but mainly to "Eddie) all day long. He was excited about the birthday cake (candybar cake).
so delighted by that fire (this kid is obsessed with fire-he talks about it all the time; anything that is red is "kinda like fire"; his play often involves pretend fire and getting burned ! We are heading for trouble!)
We blew out the candles twice for Eddie's sake! And, yes, that motorcycle ended up driving through the cake!

Mmm cake. Is that the kind of cake I've been thinking about lately? It must be Benny's birthday that got me thinking about it. It looks delicious!
